Providing support and resources for transgender and gender nonconforming students

Although most faculty are committed to providing appropriate services for diverse students, few are knowledgeable about specific challenges that transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) students can face. In this workshop, faculty will learn about the experiences of TGNC students, discover the institutional and interpersonal obstacles that can hinder TGNC students’ success, and learn about how to help students overcome these obstacles.
